Divided Moon
Completed in 2001, this sculpture is carved from California Black/Grey Alabaster (17" (h) x 15" x 11")
The moon for many cultures signifies female energy; the waxing and waning of physical and emotional cycles, the moon divided, full and empty, dark and light.
